About us

SN Display Co., Ltd. is breaking the limits for the commercialization
of next-generation perovskite luminescent materials.

Perovskite light-emitting materials are the ultimate solution that can meet the tough color space standards (Rec. 2020.) required for UHD displays and immersive 3,000 ppi AR/VR displays with wide viewing angles of 120 degrees and more. With a narrow spectral bandwidth of 15-25 nm—significantly narrower than traditional Cd-free QD (35-50 nm) and organic emitters (>50 nm)—and an ultra-high light absorption coefficient 5-10 times greater than inorganic QDs, perovskite is the ideal Cd-free luminescent material for high-resolution color conversion arrays in Micro OLED/LED technology.
Today, SN Display has developed high-throughput technologies for synthesizing perovskite nanocrystals with superior color conversion characteristics at room temperature and stabilizing them to achieve the long lifetime required for commercialization. By collaborating with leading global tech companies, we are at the forefront of integrating perovskite nanocrystals into color conversion pixels and high-resolution Micro OLED/LED pixel patterning, driving the future of display technology.

SN Display is a venture startup founded by Professor Tae-Woo Lee.

Tae-Woo Lee, a professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Seoul National University, is a globally recognized pioneer in perovskite materials and electronics, and their application to displays.
As the holder of the original patents for light-emitting perovskite nanocrystals and their optoelectronic device applications, SN Display is leading the way in innovation. Since 2014, we have built our portfolio of over 45 patents, including 8 core breakthroughs, consistently setting new benchmarks in overcoming commercialization challenges.
