SN Display holds the first foundational patents of Perovskite light-emitter, applied for in 2014, establishing our position as the leading group in this field with a strong research background. We have demonstrated that intrinsic lattice structure of perovskite materials enables particle size-independent light emission, providing exceptional color purity beyond the limits of quantum confinement effects of conventional inorganic quantum dots.[1] Our patents also cover key innovations, including core-shell structures,[2] gradient alloys,[3] 2D structures,[4] organic ligand substitutions,[5] all of which significantly enhanced optical properties and stability of perovskite nanocrystal.
Additionally, our patents of exciton buffer layers,[6] emission layers[7] for electroluminescent devices, and color-conversion technologies[8] for photoluminescent applications, as well as defect-suppressed perovskite nanocrystals[9] underscore the great potential of perovskite light-emitters for future commercialization in the display market. We are open to licensing our technologies to interested partners.
